You know when you're bored at work? Yeah, I was 3 months ago. So I downloaded Visual Boy Advance for the mac, and decided to go through Pokemon Emerald.

After some time I decided to catch Rayquaza I didn't know his level, so there I was with my level 45 pokemon against him. Needless to say, he could KO my pokemon easily.

Altaria *lvl 38*, was my first sacrifice to Rayquaza. Here came the problem, I accidently saved my game in the middle of the fight against him. So I HAD to catch him.

Well…Altaria died, and I put my money on my weird-ass pokemon Banette. Who is very handy with it's attack Curse. I got Rayquaza's health to about 6%, and decided to throw a pokeball. The best ball I had in my possession was the Ultra Ball, not the best kind of Pokeball for catching a giant pokemon that'll kill everyone in it's path (including little puppies).

I threw the ball, and prayed to my own god to give that set of pixels, a little more awesomness. And by golly it worked! Rayquaza was caught, and all thanks to my level 44 Banette (and the retardedness of attacks of Rayquaza).

2 minutes after I updated my portfolio I got lots of mails. "Wow I'm famous now" I thought. Checked my mail, and found out it was just spam.

Even with an e-mail checker in my php file, the spam was from a legit e-mail adress. I will now explain shortly what happens, and how to fix it.

Bots search for mailforms all over the internet, when they find one, they can fill in all forms within the page-adress (your navigation bar at the top of your browser). This happens in a matter of seconds, but it'll annoy the hell out of you.

THE FIX

Make an extra input box in your mailform. Call it something common, and give it an id, but something that you won't use. For example "Your phone number". Now, if you have a php file which checks which fields are filled in (you probably have one, it's the most common mailform out there) and say this in php: If  ['phone'] is filled in, then don't send an e-mail. Now you might think your legit visitors will fill this one in, and they won't be able to send an e-mail.

Here's the fun part; Go to your css file, and find that particular text box (#phone-number). Now make it invisible by using visibility: hidden; Find your table, and give it a minus-topmargin of around 20px. The invisible text-box will push your form down a bit, with this margin fix everything's back to normal.

Your legit users won't notice any difference, and fill in the text boxes they see. Which will send an e-mail to you.

Bots however, can not see any differences between a hidden text-field and a visible text-field. So they will automatically fill in the phone number, resulting in an error.

No spam for awesome people anymore! (I derived this from the fact that people who have this fix are reading my blog, therefore are awesome)

Just kidding, they send me a letter that I was so awesome that I get to be an intern at Veldsvorm.

Never heard of it, so ofcourse I was curious to what this company actually was. I hoped it met my expectations (and demands) for my 2nd internship. Got to their homepage, and I gotta say, I was impressed.

It looked really nice, and the clients were people I could have a cup of coffee with.

Though I hope I won't be the one getting all the coffee. Where I am an intern now, I actually get to do some work.

No really, I would ask it to marry me, but there isn't a particular spot to put a ring on. So that won't happen I guess.

Well there's a country nobody ever heard of; Ukraine. They have this show there called "Ukraine's Got Talent", and there was this awesome appearance. As all of you know, i'm a refined man with many interests in the subject that is called art. So this video was very appealing to me.

As you may have noticed, the images are gone. This is because I moved my blog to burningafro.org/blog instead of burningafro.org and that kinda fucked up the images. Now I have to edit all my posts to get the images back, could take a while.

The two passengers were dead due to the freakin tree, but the driver lived to tell this horrifying tale.

Now you tell me trees aren't dangerous, deaths in car accidents are mostly to blame on trees. If that unholy tree wasn't there, the passengers would still be alive. And to top all of this, the two victims were brother and sister (19 and 17 years of age). So the tree was a psychotic family killing maniac.



Trees, I hate them.
